Plastic handles with double bearings and only 28 grams per handle. Very fast and light. The Sphinx is perfect for the beginner athlete, but also suitable for the experienced athlete. Although the Sphinx is cheaper than aluminum jump ropes, that doesn't make it any worse, it's mostly a matter of taste. For some, a plastic handle works better.
